The Bellingen Youth Orchestra was proud to once again partner with the NSW Department of Education’s The Arts Unit for this year’s Compass Festival, providing orchestral accompaniment across two inspiring evenings of music.
Joined by musicians from the North Coast Festival Orchestra, our players supported more than 1,000 primary and high school students as they performed a carefully curated program of choral works. The festival celebrates the talent, dedication, and hard work of young singers from across the region, and it was a privilege to help bring their performances to life.
Our involvement with the Compass Festival continues to grow each year, reflecting our commitment to supporting young musicians and strengthening opportunities for music education across our communities. Collaborating with such a large and diverse group of students is both rewarding and inspiring, and we are grateful to play a small part in creating these memorable experiences.
Community partnerships like this are at the heart of what we do. We love giving back through music, supporting young performers, and working alongside organisations that share our passion for fostering creativity and excellence in the arts.
A heartfelt thank you to the NSW Department of Education’s The Arts Unit for the opportunity to be involved once again. We look forward to continuing this wonderful partnership in the years ahead.
