We’re still buzzing with excitement after our recent event, ‘Spring Serenade’ marking another milestone in our BYO musical history! For the first time, our newly established Wind School stood proudly alongside our long-standing String School in a wonderful performance that showcased our young players growth and talent. Together, they formed the Bellingen Youth Cygnet Orchestra, bringing fresh energy and inspiration to the stage!
This stand-alone event was more than just a concert; it was a testament to the dedication and passion of our young musicians. These talented students, some picking up their instruments for the first time not so long ago, have come so far. Thanks for FRRR we were able to successfully establish our wind school at the beginnning of this year.
It was heartwarming to see these two groups of players come together for the first time. As they stepped on stage, you could feel the collective excitement, not only from the performers but also from the audience, anticipating what the future holds for the Bellingen Youth Cygnet Orchestra.
The evening was filled with beautiful music, shared joy, and a sense of community that left everyone inspired. As we look to the future, we can’t wait to see how this incredible ensemble evolves, grows, and continues to raise the bar. It also presents an opportunity for our players to find ‘their orchestral feet’ before they join our flagship orchestra ‘The Bellingen Youth Orchestra’.
