What is your role in the Bellingen Youth Orchestra Ensembles?
I assist with conducting and sectionals as needed. I am always happy to grab a flute or percussion mallet when someone’s absent at rehearsal.
What are some of your musical achievements?
My musical achievements include designing professional development courses and classroom resource writing in my spare time, alongside raising 3 gorgeous young musician-sons. Choirs have been a big feature of my daily life, too.
What do you love about playing music?
I love music making. It fills my soul with meaning and adds bling to my life.
What inspired you to teach music in Bellingen?
Bellingen has been beckoning me “home” for over 10 years, thanks to Annie and Liz.
