SUMMARY:Senior Scholarship 2024 Round
DESCRIPTION:Our BYO Senior Scholarships provide students with an opportunity to showcase their own individual unique skill set and playing styles. This event is by donation and is open to the public. All donations received will go towards the scholarship winners. Should you like to contribute to this initiative\, please email admin@bellingenyouthorchestra.com.au or make a donation via our website.  \nFinalists are to present 2 contrasting pieces or 1 piece with contrasting sections (max 7 minutes total performance time). Performances will be judged on polish\, technical proficiency in the pieces\, tone & musicality. If finalists are proficient in more than one instrument\, they are free to perform on more than one.  Scholarships are decided by at least two adjudicators nominated by the BYO Committee. The adjudicators will be chosen based on their specific area of expertise in musical performance or education in relation to specific scholarship rounds. Every care is taken to ensure that adjudicators do not have a conflict of interest in awarding scholarships. Scholarships are announced as soon as is practicable after all applications have been considered. \nBELLINGEN HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC ROOMS. EVENT CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC DUE TO SPACE. BYO FAMILIES ONLY.
