DESCRIPTION:It is with great excitement that Bellingen Youth Orchestra has invited local schools to join us for our 2022 Schools Concert. This event has not been able to take place in the last two years due to the COVID restrictions but we are thrilled that this year we can offer schools the opportunity to … ‘Meet the Orchestra’! \nBellingen Youth Orchestra have organised an entertaining and free concert for students in Stage 1 and 2 (Years 1\, 2\, 3 and 4). This event will provide students with the opportunity to meet all the sections of the orchestra and the talented teenagers who play these instruments. This is a wonderful opportunity for young students to be introduced to all instruments found in a full orchestra. Some students have never had an experience like this and we are very excited to offer this program to the young people in our region. \nTHIS EVENT IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Invitations have been sent to schools in our local area.

DESCRIPTION:‘Songs and Proms’ will be the event to really get your Christmas festive season started.  \nChristmas is coming and the orchestra is presenting the all time favourite Tchaikovsky’s NutCracker Suite along with many favourites such as Mussorgky’s ”Great Gate Of Kiev.This concert will also feature music from Les Mis\, Classical Gas and our special guest will sing the all time favourite ‘Whiter Shade of Pale’.
